Let’s talk Couple’s Photography! Specifically intimate couples photography. So, maybe it’s not a conventional option for most couples. I know it can sound scary and uncomfortable, but don’t all the best experiences start that way?

Never in this lifetime did I think I would be booking intimate couple’s photography sessions. I’m generally an anxious person, and I feel nervous in every type of situation, new, old, and everything in between. So when I picked up a camera for the first time, I was nervous to say the least.  I didn’t know what my journey was going to look like. Would I be any good at this? Is it worth it? Are my clients even going to like me? Every bit of self doubt manifested in my mind, but I pushed through. I imaged myself continuing to take family photos, and maybe an event here and there. And while you will find me at a small wedding, family gathering or taking photos of kids running through a field, I was completely drawn to boudoir photography after my first session. I can honestly and without a doubt say I NEVER imaged I would be asking women and men to strip down and pose within an hour of meeting them.  But, I’ve fallen in love with everything boudoir has to offer. Especially intimate couples photography.  The feeling of being able to capture and show a woman how beautiful she truly is almost impossible to describe in words. There’s something even more special about being able to capture a couple’s love while seeing their confidence and beauty grow together.
